The shoulder folds are intrinsic to the overall construction and instrumental to the ruched treatment to the back of the blazer. The fabric is extraordinary; containing a balanced mix of silk and synthetics to produce a liquid metal that feels like a heavy metallic silk jersey. Fastens with two concealed press studs to the front; buttons are ornamental.

Austrian designer Anna Aichinger, studied fashion at the university of applied arts in Vienna under guest professors such as Castelbajac, Viktor&Rolf and Raf Simons. 

With her straight-lined designs, she has created a sophisticated and very distinctive style, that is continually experimenting with the contrast of formal minimalism and sex appeal. It is this formula that defines her individual personality and her creative aesthetic. 

Her work is best described as one that focuses on tailoring and silhouette, rather than decoration or trend. Yet, she has this uncanny ability to capture the contemporary climate and transform this into collections that transpose occasions and seasons.
