Long-sleeved, asymmetrical knitted wrap dress or coat. 

Detail:  This piece’s versatility is created by 2 straps at the waistline. The shorter strap attaches to a button on the inside to form the bottom layer of the wrap. The second and longer strap has 2 ways to attach to the button on the back--over the shoulder for a looser effect, or wrapped around the waist for a snug fit. The front right panel is longer to create an asymmetrical look and has a large pocket with flap. There is an inward pocket on the left.

Styling tip:  This is a playful piece to experiment with.  As a coat it is a great way to add some flare to jeans and a T-shirt.  Really spice it up and add some pointed patent brogues by the Old Curiosity Shop.  As a dress, turn it into a special occasion with a bold vintage Monet necklace, heels and a vintage alligator bag - it becomes an elegant and classic wrap dress with a twist.

Italian knitwear brand, Boboutic started life in 2000, combining the experiences of Michel Bergamo (knitwear designer) and Cristina Zamagni (architect and photographer).

Their design philosophy tends to focus on everyday life to inspire a conceptual approach to design. An image, or perhaps a conversation can spark ideas relating to the use of yarn and its application to shapes and weights, volume and construction. The key challenge is always related to the deconstruction of the body through geometrical forms. 

Boboutic’s designs are timeless, fluid and tremendously flexible. Each collection is beautifully constructed using luxurious yarns, alongside traditional knitting techniques and very precise finishing.

It’s a rarity these days to find such intelligence in knitwear design.
