Donald Stannard worked as assistant to Kenneth J Lane, 1968-72 before starting up a design house, to create his own distinct line of costume jewellery until 2000 when the company closed. He also created bespoke pieces for Broadway shows (Hello Dolly / A Little Night Music) and TV shows (Dynasty), as well as for celebrities such as Ann Miller and Loretta Young. Donald Stannard's work is now highly collectable.
