Having studied architecture in Paris and Milan for six years, Marion Vidal then moved to Antwerp where she studied at the prestigious Fashion section of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. She obtained her degree there in June 2003. Now based in Paris, Marion has presented her jewellery designs since 2004 under her eponymous brand.
The influence of her mixed education is clearly reflected in her preoccupation with the coexistence of objects and materials that are rarely allied, and how these contrast in reality with strong structures that are still light.
Marion Vidal is, without question, an entirely unique jewellery designer. A necklaces shaped like groups of planets or atoms made of organic materials such as ceramic, wood, metal and textiles deliver a very bold statement. Each piece is handcrafted by Marion herself.
In addition to designing her own jewellery label, Marion Vidal is also called upon by others to develop designs. She has thus worked for Celine, Salviati, Christofle,…
The Marion Vidal brand is stocked exclusively by Palette in the UK.
