This voluminous short trench coat of up-cycled rain-coating is all about cut. It’s a dramatic twist on a traditional wardrobe essential.
Detail: Galaxea Trench Coat. Two zip fastenings - allowing for several different looks. Wear it single breasted with large lapels to form cape collar over shoulders. Or reconfigure zippers to achieve a deconstructed feel. Inward pockets on both front side seams. Bat wing sleeves formed on the bottom by a side panels. A horizontal panel starting at the elbows across the back with a functioning popper at the centre back and one non-functioning just below each shoulder. Pleats at the top of the centre back panel creating plenty of volume. Inside seams finished with navy binding.

Styling tip: Keep the focus on the amazing cut and fullness covering your top half. Skinny black legs are essential, and skinny black leather trousers would be a huge statement. Ada Zanditon is an innovative ethical designer, creating women's ready-to-wear. Ada made her catwalk debut to an international audience at London Fashion Week in September 09. She is perhaps one of the more intelligent designers to emerge from the London fashion design scene in recent years.
Ada has also increased her reputation as one of the fastest rising, creative stars in London through her recent private commissions, creating pieces for a number of music industry innovators. She created a visionary album and tour wardrobe for Patrick Wolf and has had commissions for Bishi, Robots in Disguise and Stephanie O’Brien of the Puppini Sisters. Ebony Bones is also a fan.
