Detail: Mid-length dress with a medieval feel to it. A wonderful mix of fabrics have been used as panels, all cut irregularly but mostly diagonially. Lush chocoalate velvet covers the bust. Charcoal silk has been distressed to cover the abdomen, and a softened hessian is used else where - bitter chocolate to the skirt and midnight blue for the sleeves. Both hemline and sleeve cuffs are frayed. Closure via zip to the back. The concoction is so perfectly balanced.
