In 1939, Rose and Joseph Woloch started to create costume jewellery from their tiny Parisian workshop. Rose, the commercial director and Joseph the artistic director. Their success was swift, recruiting Coco Chanel as a client, as well as Galeries Lafayette in the early days. Woloch designed and handcrafted many bespoke pieces for Chanel Couture in the 40s through to the early 60s.
