Detail: Really striking late 1970s evening vest covered with sequins and a beaded fringe by Charles Creed. Very much in the style of 1920s flapper. Beautiful quality and superb condition. Should be worn loose, ideally with wide cigarette pants or satin pencil skirt.

1970s: Advances in technology allowed clothing manufacturers to produce uniformity of style, finish and cost. Ready to wear clothing in the early 70s was still classic with streamlined, well cut and uncluttered silhouettes.
