Detail: These are authentic designer Ray-Ban Vintage Sunglasses with Bausch and Lomb stamp, from the late 1970s. New old stock / dead stock, so in perfect mint condition.The lenses have been replaced and updated with polarized lenses by a licensed optician. The frames are opthalmic grade, in other words, prescription ready if you so desire. Rare and very collectable.

1970s: Advances in technology allowed clothing manufacturers to produce uniformity of style, finish and cost. Ready to wear clothing in the early 70s was still classic with streamlined, well cut and uncluttered silhouettes. As the decade progressed, shapes became more body conscious and hemlines varying between knee, calf and full length. One was generally more experimental by mixing colour, print and texture from mass-produced clothing with looks from past decades that referenced the 30s and 40s.
