Detail: Vintage Issey Miyake classic dark petrol blue frock coat trouser suit from his 1989 Autumn / Winter Collection. Minimalist design for both pencil trouser and frock coat / jacket. Both pieces are fully lined. Lots of hand stitching throughout. Exquisite twill fabric that in varying light, alternates between petrol and midnight blue.

Issey Miyake and his design team have been experimenting with and refining their pleating technique since 1988.
