Detail: Totally delicious and unique vintage dress in French navy (Royal blue) and red trim, by Dorothy O'hara. Military inspired using a lovely wool crepe fabric. Tulip construction with large tucked fold to front of skirt; fastening with three fabric covered buttons to front and several hook and eyes / stud poppers. The lines on this piece are truly beautiful. Exaggerated hip level pockets delivers something altogether typical for this era. Clever tailoring!
